Open Doors in Northern Ireland

Open Doors is a fantastic opportunity for young people and those looking for a change of career, to find out what construction has to offer by going behind the scenes and seeing the wide range of opportunities available.

This is a Build UK initiative that has been taking place in England, Scotland, and Wales.

Construction Futures has partnered with Build UK to pilot the initiative for the first time in Northern Ireland from Tuesday 18 until Saturday 22 March 2025.

What is Open Doors?

Open Doors, delivered by Build UK, takes visitors behind the scenes to safely showcase live building sites, to demonstrate the fantastic range of careers available in the UK construction industry

Open Doors in Northern Ireland

Construction Futures has partnered with Build UK to bring the initiative to Northern Ireland for the first time, and it will run from Tuesday 18th until Saturday 22nd March 2025.

This will be an opportunity to coordinate, collaborate, and promote our industry in one week to schools, colleges and Universities in Northern Ireland, with the support of the Department of Education.
